From the Talibans point of view.They will eventually take Afghanistan back so the turbine and the power plant will again belong to them, free of charge. Why would they want to damage their own property?

This turbine will help the Taliban rebuild their country. If you look at the history of Afghanistan, no conqueror has ever lasted long and the locals always end up back in control. I see a triumph for the Afghan people, it’s just a matter of time.
